David CAMERON is in a pickle over SYRIA- what should he do?

Next week the House of Commons will vote on whether or not to go to Syria and bomb it. That is ...if Mr Cameron can get enough cross party support to take it to a vote he can win.

The question will be ...what is going to happen between now and next week?

And... if nothing happens will those MPS who are undecided change their minds to vote NO...?

Time for Cam... is running out by the day... of course...what would swing it is if we had a terrorist attack here in London... or somewhere else in the UK.. and then...IF that happens - immediately people will be shouting ..." conspiracy!"...

so... it seems if he runs out of steam before wednesday banging the war drums...he will lose that support.

Why? Because no matter HOW he fluffs or spices it up... people still recall tony blair eagerness to jump onto the war wagon...

The argument crispin blunt puts forward sounds very logical... but in fact it is vacuous. The truth is those 70 000 so called moderates are supplying weapons to IS and if push comes to shove... it will be IS that will control Syria once Assad is removed...

And that will be an even bigger mess...

Also ... by participating in the consensus Britain will make itself a priority target and in fact put lives at risk right here in Britain..why? because it will radicalise local muslims here in this country to take action.

It will be seen in fact as an attack on their fellow muslim brothers... not as an attempt to eradicate a very evil death cult...

Its tricky ground hes walking on...

But doing nothing is not an option...and I agree... but if something is going to be done... then NATO has to do it jointly.

And they have to put ground troops on the ground... bombing will do nothing...IS have time... they can wait forever- melt into the background and reappear- also we havent spoken about IRAN... already as we speak they are preparing for the scenario of sending in their own troops against IS from the North... Turkey will if this happens invade from the south and remove Assad.

And Russia is still pretty pissed off - they arnt going to forget the downing of their jet so easily... they want revenge.

But the truth is ... Britain is probably the best positioned in this whole mess to act decisively and create a united front against both IS and Assad... It must be a two prong attack utilising the only reliable allies on the ground...the Kurds.

Again...Turkey has a special interest in seeing the Kurds contained... - and of course in seeing Assad removed... Erdogan cannot play a double game now...he must choose... either they are against IS and Assad OR NOT.

IF ...AND IT SEEMS HIGHLY LIKELY IF that Britain will take steps to get involved in this civil war...

IF it does join the coaltion of the willing..throwing a few bombs on Racca and the supply routes will only do minimum damage - its not going to work over a sustained amount of time... ground troops will have to be sent in ...and this is the major issue here...

no... david cameron is in a pickle... but if he is to defeat IS he will have to join in with Turkey and destroy Assad first. Yes... there will be a vacuum... but then one snake is removed from the equation... then you focus on taking IS out... the turkmen will join the ground forces already there ... a joint french and british unit - and any one else that wants to tag along... and then you root out IS starting with Aleppo , then Palmyra... then Racca... THEN MOSUL- the IS stronghold...which will be attacked jointly with the kurds and the Iraqi ARMY.

But one thing is for sure mr cameron...this war will NOT be won without sending in British troops...so if you know this... then take the commons to a vote... - if you dont..dont fool yourself...

stand aside and dont get yourelf into a pickle...

this is the rise of Gog WE ARE SEEING...Magog is still on the way.
